They improve flavour, body and mouthfeel compared to just using brewing sugar and has less effect on colour compared to using malt extract alone. It's also very easy to use due to being less viscous than liquid malt, and easier to mix than dried/spray malt whilst still offering the great improvement to quality.
The cider enhancer is a blend of apple concentrate and sugar syrups which can be used in place of 1kg of brewing sugar. This has been developed for use with any cider kit that requires additional fermentables.
