This can be called a pseudo lager or pilsner.
A beer fermented at ambient ale temps intended to mimic lager style, but is not a genuine lager. This is because ease of use.
Mangrove Jack's extract kits are designed to be easy to use with equipment and environments that customers are likely to have. So some of these require warmer more achievable temperatures.
The flavour notes are kept in line with flavours that are common in pilsners and lagers. We use a blend of European malts to achieve these flavours as well.
Usually pilsner and lager malts have a longer boil time to get rid of DMS as a precaution, but is not always necessary. So you don't actually need to worry about the malt as the yeast is what determines the style. And as with extract, as no boiling is required with extract pouches, you don't need to worry anyway.
