No we don't, however, good alternatives are:
- M42 New World Strong Ale – attenuation up to 82 % with alcohol tolerance up to 12 % ABV and a neutral flavour profile.
- M36 Liberty Bell Ale – attenuation up to 78 % with alcohol tolerance up to 9 % ABV and moderate ester flavour profile.
In addition to the attenuation and alcohol tolerance for both looking good on paper, both of these yeasts are also suitable for a range of English and American styles (pale, amber, brown, stout/porter).
If you’re looking for highest attenuation and/or highest ABV and/or cleanest flavour profile, M42 would seem the best bet – however, if you want a little more esters, and the attenuation and ABV look ok, M36 would be worth considering.
Note: Neither strain is expected to be an exact match in terms of fermentation performance and beer taste quality – the best approach we would think would be to test both and see what you prefer.
