What does the LE error mean on my Kegerator?
An LE code means the Kegerator is reading a low temperature. This is usually not a fault with the fridge itself. It’s most often caused by a loose or disconnected white wire on the control board, which sits under the top cover of the Kegerator.
How to check the connection
- Turn off and unplug the Kegerator from the wall before you start.
- If your Kegerator has a tap tower fitted, remove it first so you can lift the top cover.
- Undo the three screws on the back of the Kegerator that hold the top cover in place.
- Lift the top cover carefully and turn it over. The wires are still attached to the cover, so don’t pull it away or stretch them.
- Find the white wire connected to the control board. Check that it’s pushed firmly into place. If it has come loose, reconnect it.
- Put the cover back on, replace the three screws, refit the tower, and plug the Kegerator back in.
Give the Kegerator a little time to settle and check whether the LE code has cleared.
